Near Strasbourg, set in the Alsatian vineyard, the " Domaine de la Schleif " is an unforgettable encounter with regional tradition. A major item on the itinerary of your tour of the " Domaine " : the air-conditioned force-feeding room. This is the hub of a controlled ecosystem which guarantees optimal living conditions for our animals.
At the " Domaine ", force-feeding is traditional. No granulates, or pre-dosed foods,simply maize alone, as it was done three hundred years ago.
Carving : a special moment for suggestions for serving gastronomic dishes. At the "Domaine de la Schleif", they produce Foie Gras, magret (duck breast) and confit (salt-cured duck) according to traditional, natural method.For example : visit of the domain with tasting for 9.50€. Groups admission until 65 persons.
